How do I know if a neuropsychological assessment is needed?
A neuropsychologist assessment can provide information regarding focus, strengths and difficulties, learning and learning styles, frustration at school, difficulty with reading, writing or math, why school work is difficult, or evaluation of IEP goals.
Additionally, evaluation of sadness, worries or difficulty with managing emotions, and difficulty making and/or keeping friends.
Assessment can also be the first step in determining a diagnosis for further treatments by therapists, pediatricians, or psychiatrists.

Do you take insurance?
The neuropsychological evaluation would be considered out of network. However, information maybe provided to your insurance company for reimbursement in the form of a detailed receipt. The benefit for obtaining an out of net work evaluation is that you have the ability to choose your provider without insurance preauthorization. Additionally an out of network evaluation is not limited in the type and length of assessment to assure that each patient’s individual needs are met.
What is the rate for services?
A flat rate is charged depending on the type of evaluation. The rate includes the time spending during the intake interview, assessment, record review (medical and academic), consultations, integration, report writing, and feedback interview. Rates for the complete evaluation range from $3,000 to $5,000.
