Hello!
I received my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology from Texas A&M University.
I continued my education in New York City obtaining a Clinical Psychology Ph.D., with an Emphasis in Neuropsychology from City University of New York - Graduate and University Center. In New York I received training in neuropsychology at multiple highly regarded institutions, such as The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York University Langone Child Study Center, Queens College Psychological Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I completed my graduate research on ADHD in children and the impact of environmental and genetic factors on symptoms analyzing data from the Queens College Preschool Project.
My year long clinical internship was spent at Wake Forest Medical Center, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, continuing my training in Pediatric Neuropsychology. In addition to Pediatric Neuropsychology training, I received experience in pediatric psychology, adolescent psychiatric inpatient, and pediatric oncology/hematology.
Following my internship I completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of California Davis MIND Institute, in Sacramento, California. At the MIND Institute my training focused on children and young adults with ASD, ADHD, and developmental delays. I was also involved in a multi-site research study, Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO).
In addition to clinical work I enjoy contributing to clinical research in the form of research articles and conference presentations. I also contributing to the education and supervision of clinical psychological graduate students as an Adjust Assistant Professor.
My extensive training and experience have uniquely lead me to provide neuropsychological assessment and psychological assessment for children, adolescents and young adults. I am excited to work with you and your family to met your unique needs.
I am licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Texas.
